# Get group info

`GET /v1/whatsapp/wa-groups/{groupId}`

## Request

Retrieve metadata about a WhatsApp group including subject, description,
participants, and settings.

Not available on [Coexistence](/platforms/whatsapp/connect#whatsapp-business-app-coexistence) numbers. Requires a Cloud API-only number.
