# Unpin post

`POST /v1/posts/{postId}/unpin`

## Request

Unpins a published Facebook Page post from the top of its Page. Only Facebook posts can be unpinned; any other platform answers 400 `platform_not_supported`.

## Path parameters

- `postId` string, required

## Request body

- PinPostRequest
  - `platform` string, required: Must be `facebook`. Any other value answers 400 `platform_not_supported`.
  - `accountId` string: Which Facebook account's copy to change when the post was published to several Facebook accounts. Required in that case.

## Response `200`

Unpin applied on Facebook

- PinPostResponse
  - `success` boolean
  - `pinned` boolean: Whether the post is now pinned to the top of the Page.
  - `platformPostId` string: The Facebook post ID that was changed.
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request: invalid postId or accountId, the post or the chosen account is not on Facebook (`platform_not_supported`), the Facebook entry is not published or has no platform post ID, no access token, or Facebook rejected the change.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key. `code` is `missing_credentials` when no Authorization header was sent and `invalid_credentials` when the key is unknown, revoked or expired.
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: The post was published to several Facebook accounts and no accountId was sent (ambiguous_account).
- `500`: Facebook API call failed
