# Confirm the caller-ID verification code

`POST /v1/phone-numbers/{id}/whatsapp/caller-id-verification/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zernio.com/api`
- URL: `https://zernio.com/api/v1/phone-numbers/{id}/whatsapp/caller-id-verification/verify`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Submits the one-time code the number received. On success, `tel:`
call forwards present the business number itself as caller ID
(`callerIdMode: business`).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or expired code, or malformed request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key. `code` is `missing_credentials` when no Authorization header was sent and `invalid_credentials` when the key is unknown, revoked or expired.
- `403`: The API key is scoped to profiles that do not include this number.
- `404`: Number not found
- `429`: Attempt lockout from the carrier; wait a few minutes, then request a fresh code
