# Remove a Google Ads label

`DELETE /v1/ads/labels/{labelId}`

Removes the label. Google drops it from every campaign, ad group, ad and keyword it was attached to.

## Path parameters

- `labelId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `accountId` string, required
- `adAccountId` string
- `customerId` string

## Response `200`

Label removed

- object
  - `customerId` string
  - `labelId` string
  - `removed` boolean — Always true on success

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Label not found on this customer, or account unavailable
- `409` — The account exists but is inactive or needs reconnection. Reconnect it, then read GET /v1/accounts for its current account ID before retrying. Code: ads_connection_required.
- `501` — Only available on Google Ads accounts
