# Update a custom conversion goal

`PATCH /v1/ads/conversions/custom-goals/{goalId}`

Renames the goal and/or replaces its conversion actions. Returns the re-read goal.

## Path parameters

- `goalId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `accountId` string, required — Zernio SocialAccount id (Google Ads)
  - `adAccountId` string — Google customer id. Required when the connection has multiple customers.
  - `customerId` string — Alias of adAccountId
  - `name` string
  - `conversionActionIds` string[] — Replaces the whole set.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Goal not found on this customer, or account unavailable
- `409` — The account exists but is inactive or needs reconnection. Reconnect it, then read GET /v1/accounts for its current account ID before retrying. Code: ads_connection_required.
- `501` — Only available on Google Ads accounts
