# Dismiss an ads alert

`POST /v1/ads/alerts/{alertId}/dismiss`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zernio.com/api`
- URL: `https://zernio.com/api/v1/ads/alerts/{alertId}/dismiss`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Hides an alert from `GET /v1/ads/alerts` for 30 days for the calling user. If the problem is still there after
that, the alert comes back.

## Path parameters

- `alertId` string, required

## Response `200`

Dismissed.

  - `dismissedUntil` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key. `code` is `missing_credentials` when no Authorization header was sent and `invalid_credentials` when the key is unknown, revoked or expired.
- `403`: Ads access required. Legacy plans need the Ads add-on; included by default on usage-based plans.
- `503`: Dismissing is temporarily unavailable (code `feature_not_available`).
