# Update HubSpot account settings

`PATCH /v1/accounts/{accountId}/hubspot-settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://zernio.com/api`

Turn contact sync or message logging on or off for a connected HubSpot portal. Send at least one field; omitted fields keep their value. Settings survive reconnecting the same portal.

- `accountId` string, required

## Request body

  - `syncContacts` boolean: Create a HubSpot contact for an inbox contact that matches none by email or phone. A match is linked as it is and never updated.
  - `logMessages` boolean: Log inbound and outbound inbox messages on the contact's HubSpot timeline.

    - `syncContacts` boolean, required: Whether Zernio creates HubSpot contacts for inbox contacts that match none.
    - `logMessages` boolean, required: Whether Zernio logs inbox messages on HubSpot contact timelines.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key. `code` is `missing_credentials` when no Authorization header was sent and `invalid_credentials` when the key is unknown, revoked or expired.
- `404`: Account not found
