# Payout finalised

`POST payments_payout.finalised` (webhook)

Sent once a payout has reached its final status and will not change again. `body.status` is `settled` when the funds are available to the creditor, `cancelled` when the payout was cancelled, or `failed` with the reasons in `body.errors`. For a failed payout, any funds debited for it are back in the debtor's account by the time this is sent, so it is safe to retry the payout or arrange a fallback payment.
