# Create a submission

`POST /listing/submissions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.zentail.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.zentail.com/v1/listing/submissions`
- Auth: API key in header `AUTHORIZATION`

This endpoint is used to create a submission for a listing. Submissions represent data sent or ingested into the integrators system. It is purely to provide greater insight into sellers actions and to provide a way to track the status of data sent or received.

## Request body

  - `submissions` ListingSubmission[], required
    - `submissionId` integer: The ID generated by Zentail when the submission is created. Do not provide when creating submissions.
    - `sku` string, required: The SKU of the listing that was submitted
    - `contentSent` string, required
    - `contentReceived` string
    - `metadata` object
    - `type` string, required: The type of submission, this can be something like what api or system the data was sent to or something more generic like 'inventory'
    - `successful` boolean, required
    - `preparedAt` string, date-time, required
    - `submittedAt` string, date-time, required
    - `acknowledgedAt` string, date-time, required
