# Delete Failed Intake

`DELETE /intake/{intake_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.zeno-works.ch` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.zeno-works.ch/intake/{intake_id}`
- Auth: none declared

Remove a ``failed`` queue row that cannot be retried (Lane N-ingest).

The way out of a dead end (empty or damaged archive, an unsupported type, expired
bytes): the person uploads a different file, and this takes the old row out of the queue
and the work list instead of leaving it for the 30-day retention sweep. 409 unless the
row is ``failed`` or if it has member rows; 404 missing / 403 out of scope.

Accountant/owner (ZCT-257), like the retry beside it.
