# List Device Expense Categories

`GET /device/v1/expense-categories`

## Request

The expense categories the employee may suggest (ZR-11): the ACTIVE ones of the paired
company, ``id`` and ``name`` only, by code. Send an ``id`` back as ``category_id`` on the
upload or the card pick. Nothing of another company is ever listed. Its own rate-limit bucket
at the status limit (``DEVICE_STATUS_RATE_LIMIT``); the 401s of every device route.
