# Request Token Purchase

`POST /companies/{company_id}/token-purchase-requests`

Ask to buy more tokens. **Any member** — this is the intent path, not the purchase.

Ships ahead of payments because without it "buying unblocks" means emailing a human
who may be away, and the demand leaves no trace. An admin sees the request, records
the purchase, and the wall clears. When a payment provider arrives this is the row
that becomes the order; it is the machinery a provider replaces, not competes with.

- PurchaseRequestIn: A customer asking to buy, ahead of any payment provider (decision 4). **Bounded in both dimensions**, because the payer-keyed route beside it is reachable by any signed-in user: `units` unbounded against a BigInteger meant an int8 overflow at COMMIT — outside `Scoped.tx()`'s rollback arm, so an opaque 500 on a deactivated session rather than a 422 — and `note` unbounded against a Text column is an append-anything surface on an unpaginated admin worklist.
