# Renumber Account

`POST /companies/{company_id}/ledger-accounts/{account_number}/renumber`

Renumber an account in ``fiscal_year`` (name + category preserved) (accountant).

Builds a single-entry remap and drives the shared :func:`svc.remap_chart_accounts`
(delete old row, authoritative upsert, recompute usage, fork the accepted snapshot).
**404** if the source account is missing in that FY. **409** if the account already
has FY journal entries posted (``JOURNAL_ALREADY_POSTED``) or there is no accepted
balance snapshot for the FY. **422** if the remap is invalid (collision/unbalanced).
The renumber target does NOT inherit ``is_intentional`` (its number range may now
match its type).

- RenumberAccountIn: ``POST /companies/{id}/ledger-accounts/{number}/renumber`` body (admin). Renumbers the account in ``fiscal_year`` to ``new_account_number`` (name + category preserved). Drives the shared chart-remap (delete old row, authoritative upsert, fork the accepted snapshot). The renumber target does NOT inherit ``is_intentional``.
