# Create Journal Entry File

`POST /companies/{company_id}/journal-entry-files`

Generate a journal-entry export file from the selected bank entries (legacy).

200 → the file bytes as an ``attachment`` download, with ``X-Journal-*`` summary
headers. 422 ``{"msg"}`` on any invalid/ineligible/empty/over-cap selection. 503
``{"msg"}`` when the accountant is unreachable / fails. 409
``conflict.documentDateFiscalYearNotOpen`` when a selected movement's date has no
bookable fiscal year (ZET-316) — see the module docstring for why that one is not
retryable.
