# Reverse Gl Reserve Allocation

Release the allocation back to retained earnings — accountant (or admin).

Books through the journal reversal path (Dr reserve / Cr retained
earnings — the appropriation negated); re-allocation for the (fiscal year,
kind) becomes possible. 409 when already reversed; 422 on a closed posting
period; 404 on an unknown allocation.

- ReserveAllocationOut: One GV reserve allocation (one *active* per fiscal year and kind). ``reversal_entry_id``/``reversed_at`` are set when the allocation was released back to retained earnings — the (FY, kind) key is then free for a re-allocation.
