# Create Cash Register

`POST /companies/{company_id}/cash/registers`

Create a cash register (accountant). Dateless. 422 when ``account_code`` cannot
be resolved in the newest open fiscal year that has a chart (add it under
Accounting → Accounts first); that account is marked ``control_type=cash``.
