# Search Entry Open Items

Look up an open item for this movement by hand (ZCT-874) — member read.

``q`` (at least 2 characters) is matched against the customer/supplier name, the
document number and the payment reference, and — when it reads as an amount
(``1'100.00``, ``1100``) — the item's open or original amount in its own currency. Only
items the link route admits for this movement are returned: same company and currency —
a movement in the base currency also finds items in a foreign currency (F2635: the link
then states how much of the item the payment settles, ``released_amount_currency``) — the
movement's direction (money out pays a payable), still open, linked to no movement,
no credit notes (those are settled under Credit); nothing for an ignored or already
booked movement. At most 20, earliest due first. Link
one with ``POST /bank-entries/{entry_id}/gl-open-items`` (``link_gl_open_item``) — the
same link the candidates list uses; nothing is linked here.

``linked_elsewhere`` (ZCT-918): the items the same query finds that are linked to ANOTHER
movement — never linkable here (409 ``conflict.glOpenItemReconciled``), each with that
movement and whether the item is part-paid (at most 20). Unlink it there first; a
reversed settlement payment releases it (ZCT-918).
