# Send Payment

`POST /v0/payments`

Start sending instant Bitcoin payments through the ZBD API.

## Headers

- `Content-Type` string

## Request body

- object
  - `invoice` string — Lightning Network Payment Request / Charge
  - `description` string — Note or comment for this Payment
  - `amount` string — Amount to be paid to this Charge/Invoice -> in millisatoshis *(only valid if Amountless Invoice)*
  - `internalId` string — Open metadata string property
  - `callbackUrl` string — The endpoint ZBD will POST Payment updates to

## Response `200`

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `500` — Internal Server Error
