# Set OCPP Password (plain text) for a charger

`POST /chargers/{chargerId}/ocpp/settings/password`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://integrations.api.prod.zaptec.com`
- URL: `http://integrations.api.prod.zaptec.com/chargers/{chargerId}/ocpp/settings/password`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Expects `password` as plain text in the request payload.

This endpoint encodes the plain-text password to hex before forwarding it to the charger.

If you already have an encoded OCPP AuthorizationKey that must be used as-is, use `/chargers/{chargerId}/ocpp/settings/encodedauthorizationkey` instead.

- UpdateOcppPasswordRequest
  - `password` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content
