# Rotate Token

`POST /companies/{company_id}/output-feeds/{output_feed_id}/rotate-token`

Issue a new public URL and revoke the old one.

A feed registered on Meta is registered again with the new URL (decision
216): Meta kept fetching the revoked one and got nothing, and the catalog
went stale without a word. If Meta cannot be told, the rotation stands —
it is usually why someone rotated — and ``settings.meta_republish_error``
says so until the feed is published to Meta again.
