# Bulk update mentions

`POST /topics/{topicId}/mentions/bulkupdate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.youscan.io/api/external`
- URL: `https://api.youscan.io/api/external/topics/{topicId}/mentions/bulkupdate`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in query parameter `apiKey`

Update mentions' `tags` and `sentiment`, mark them as spam, or remove them. Maximum 100 mentions per request.

## Path parameters

- `topicId` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `mentions` object[], required: Mentions to be updated.
    - `id` integer, required: ID of the mention.
    - `tags` string[]: List of tags to set. Will overwrite existing tags.
    - `sentiment` 'positive' | 'neutral' | 'negative': Sentiment for the mention.
    - `spam` boolean: Value indicating whether the mention is marked as spam.
    - `deleted` boolean: Value indicating whether the mention is deleted (moved to Bin).

## Response `200`

Mentions updated.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid.
- `401`: The API key is missing or invalid.
- `403`: Your permission level for this topic is too low for the action.
- `404`: Topic not found or you don't have access to it.
