# Demo Track

`POST /api/v1/demo/track`

## Request

Record that a partner's demo link was opened.

Returns 204 whatever happens. This is fired from the page on load, so a
failure here must be invisible to the visitor — a prospect must never see
the demo break because attribution had a bad day.

## Request body

- DemoTrackRequest: Beacon sent when the demo page loads. Only "view" is accepted here — a plan is recorded by the plan route itself, so the client cannot inflate the number that matters.
  - `partner` string, nullable
  - `event` 'view'
  - `session_id` string, nullable
  - `referrer` string, nullable
