# Delete an item brand

`DELETE /v1/item_brands/{item_brand_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete an item brand. Items that belong to the brand no longer belong to any brand: their `brand_id` becomes `null`.

**Required scopes: `business/catalogue:read`, `business/catalogue:write`**

## Path parameters

- `item_brand_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the item brand.
