# Send prepared message

`POST /api/v1/message/{id}/smartsend`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://yespo.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP basic

The method is used for sending a prepared message to one or many contacts. You can create broadcasts for Email, SMS, Mobile Push, Web Push, Viber, Telegram Bot channels.<br/>You can parametrize the message for each contact individually.

## Request body

- ExtendedPreparedMessageParameters
  - `recipients` ParametrizedLocator[], required
    - `contactId` integer: Required parameter, if &quot;locator&quot; and &quot;externalCustomerId&quot; are not specified.
    - `externalCustomerId` string: Required parameter, if &quot;locator&quot; and &quot;contactId&quot; are not specified.
    - `locator` string: Recipient's media-channel. <b>Required parameter</b>, if &quot;contactId&quot; and &quot;externalCustomerId&quot; are not specified.<br> For example: email-address for email messages; phone number for SMS or Viber; token for Web or Mob-push messages; chat_id for Telegram bot.
    - `jsonParam` string: The set of parameters in JSON format. Used for the messages with the dynamic content.
    - `externalRequestId` string
    - `languageCode` string: Desired message language for the contact. Used for the multilingual messages.
  - `email` boolean: Message type.<br><b>true</b> for email, <b>false</b> for other media-channels.
  - `fromName` string: Sender name.<br> For email, indicate the sender name only, without an email address. The sender's email address selected in the message is used.<br> For SMS, use the alphanumeric sender ID.<br> If the parameter is not indicated, the sender name selected in the message is used.
