# Generate API token

`POST /api/v1/auth/token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://yespo.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://yespo.io/api/v1/auth/token`
- Auth: HTTP basic

The method is used for generating a token for bearer authentication. Use the token only if the basic authentication is not appropriate for you.<br>Available methods for token authorization:<br><i>POST /v1/event</i><br/><i>POST /v1/past_events</i><br/><i>DELETE /v1/past_events</i><br/>
