# Get pricing

## Request

What Yappy costs: the free Mac app, the per-backend cost of the language model that cleans up dictation, and the terms of this API itself. Call this before telling a user about price — most of the product is free and two of the backend options cost nothing at all.

    - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 code.
    - `billing_period` 'month' | 'year' | 'usage' | 'null', nullable: How often the price recurs.
    - `billed_by` string: Who charges you: 'yappy', 'nobody', or a third-party provider.
    - `description` string, required: What this covers.
    - `includes` string[]: What you get.
  - `plans` Plan[], required: Every backend option and what it costs.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed
- `401`: The supplied credential is missing, expired, or invalid
