# Create credit top-up checkout

`POST /credits/topup`

Create a Stripe Checkout session only after the user confirms. The request never completes payment or adds credits by itself.

## Request body

- object
  - `dollars` integer, required — Amount to top up in US dollars. Minimum 10.
  - `locale` string — Optional checkout locale. Defaults to en.

## Response `200`

Top-up payment links

- object
  - `redirect_url` string, uri, required — Stable first-party Xquik redirect URL for the active Stripe Checkout session.
  - `url` string, uri, required — Same stable first-party Xquik redirect URL as redirect_url. The response never exposes a raw Stripe Checkout URL.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid input
- `401` — Unauthenticated
- `429` — Xquik tier rate limit exceeded. The response includes a `Retry-After` header with the number of seconds to wait before retrying.
