# Cancel extraction

`DELETE /api/v1/extractions/{id}`

Cancels an active extraction without charging or saving rows.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Extraction canceled

- object
  - `id` string, required
  - `status` 'canceled', required

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthenticated
- `404` — Not found
- `409` — Extraction already reached a terminal state
- `429` — Xquik tier rate limit exceeded. The response includes a `Retry-After` header with the number of seconds to wait before retrying.
- `default` — Unexpected error.
