# Get Reddit comments by IDs or permalink (live)

`GET /api/data/reddit/comments/ids/live`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.xpoz.ai`
- URL: `https://api.xpoz.ai/api/data/reddit/comments/ids/live`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Fetch up to 100 Reddit comments by ID, or one comment by permalink. Pass either `postId` together with `ids`, or `url` on its own. The comments must belong to the given `postId` - a comment ID alone can no longer be resolved to its post. IDs Reddit does not return are omitted from the results. Always returns `has_more: false`. Fetches directly from the platform. Not available for trial access keys.

- CursorResponse: Envelope for on-demand `/live` endpoints: one provider page plus a cursor.

  - `has_more` boolean, required
  - `next_page_cursor` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed. Returned when neither or both of `ids` and `url` are given (`Exactly one of ids or url is required`), or when `ids` is given without a `postId` (`postId is required with ids (or pass a full comment url instead).`).
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: On-demand search is not available for trial access keys.
- `default`: The request could not be fulfilled. Status is 400 for an empty or invalid search query, 402 when CSV export is blocked by plan limits, 500 otherwise.
