# Query daemon version

`POST /daemon/version`

## Request

Retrieves version information from the daemon

## Response `200`

The operation was successful

- DaemonVersionResponse
  - `version` string, required: The version of the running daemon
  - `canonicalVersion` string, required: The canonical version of the running daemon
  - `buildVersion` string, required: The build timestamp
  - `jvmVersion` string, required: The version of the Java Virtual Machine in which the daemon is running
  - `pro` boolean, required: Whether the daemon supports professional edition features

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. Please check error message and your parameters.
- `401`: Authorization failed. Please supply a `Bearer` token via the `Authorization` header.
- `403`: Authorization failed. Please supply a valid `Bearer` token via the `Authorization` header.
- `500`: Internal error.
