# List Llm Models

`GET /v1/misc/llm_providers/{provider_identifier}/models`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.xpander.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.xpander.ai/v1/misc/llm_providers/{provider_identifier}/models`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns available models for a specific LLM provider. Use the model_id value as the agent's model_name field when creating or updating an agent.

- `provider_identifier` string, required

Successful Response

- LLMModelItem[]
  - `model_id` string, required: The model identifier to use in agent configuration. Set this as the agent's model_name field (e.g., 'claude-opus-5-5', 'gpt-4o').
  - `display_name` string, nullable: Human-readable name of the model for display purposes.
  - `tier` integer, nullable: Internal billing bucket used only when the model has no published price. Prefer the price field for cost.
  - `description` string, nullable: One-line summary of what the model is for.
  - `input_tokens` integer, nullable: Context window size in tokens.
  - `output_tokens` integer, nullable: Maximum tokens the model can generate in one response.
  - `family` string, nullable: Vendor that actually built the model, which differs from the provider for aggregators such as OpenRouter (e.g., 'Anthropic').
  - `released` string, nullable: Release date of the model, ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD).
  - `status` 'ga' | 'preview' | 'legacy'
  - `capabilities` LLMModelCapabilities: Coarse 1-5 self-consistent scores; comparable across models, not benchmark numbers.
    - `reasoning` integer, nullable
    - `code` integer, nullable
    - `tool_use` integer, nullable
    - `speed` integer, nullable
    - `multilingual` integer, nullable
  - `modalities` string[], nullable: Input modalities the model accepts (e.g., ['text', 'image']).
  - `features` string[], nullable: Supported features (e.g., 'function_calling', 'structured_output', 'prompt_caching', 'extended_thinking').
  - `use_cases` string[], nullable: Short phrases describing what the model is best suited for.
  - `sort_order` integer, nullable: Catalog display position within the provider, ascending. Models are already returned in this order; sort by it if you re-order them yourself.
  - `price` LLMModelPrice: Live sell rates merged from model_prices; absent when the model has no active price row.
    - `input_usd_per_1m` number, nullable
    - `output_usd_per_1m` number, nullable
    - `cache_read_usd_per_1m` number, nullable
    - `cache_write_usd_per_1m` number, nullable
    - `audio_usd_per_minute` number, nullable
