# Resolve a referral code to the referrer's first name

`GET /public/referral/{referralCode}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.xfa.tech`
- URL: `https://api.xfa.tech/public/referral/{referralCode}`
- Auth: none required

Public (unauthenticated) endpoint for the referral landing page. Returns
only the referrer's first name. Every failure answers 404 so the page falls
back to a name-less hero and the endpoint cannot be used to probe.

- `400`: No referral code supplied
- `404`: Referral code unknown or no name available
