# Update a global plan definition

`PUT /pricing-plans/{planName}`

## Request

Every change is stored by the billing service as a new plan revision with what changed and who changed it (the signed-in sys admin). Organizations only change when the plan is applied, and then only the fields the edits changed, where the organization still had the old plan value.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body
- `409`: The plan was changed by someone else; reload it and try again
