# Invite a user to an organization

`POST /organizations/{organizationId}/users`

## Request

Invite a user to an organization as an admin. Sends an invitation email to the invitee.

## Path parameters

- `organizationId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `invitee` string, required: The email address of the user to invite
  - `role_type` string: The role type for the user (optional)

## Response `204`

The invitation has been sent successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `403`: Forbidden - not authorized
- `500`: Internal server error
