# Validate Key

`GET /api-keys/validate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.xeorank.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.xeorank.com/api-keys/validate`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Agent-Key`

Validate an API key and return the associated user identity.

Used by the MCP server to authenticate incoming requests that carry
a user's personal API key in the Authorization header.

## Query parameters

- `api_key` string, required: The raw API key to validate (xyle_...)

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ValidateResponse
  - `user_id` string, required
  - `email` string, required
  - `valid` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
