# Update parts v2

`PATCH /api/v2/products/{id}/parts`

Updates parts of a product.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required — Resource identifier.

## Request body

- object[]
  - `id` string, required — Resource identifier.
  - `amount` number, float — Sets the amount for how many times the product is included
  - `type` 'shopping part' | 'information part / service' | 'provision' — Type of the part.
  - `reference` string, nullable — Reference for the part.

## Response `204`

Operation completed successfully, no response body

## Other responses

- `400` — IETF RFC 9457 Problem API compliant response
- `401` — Unable to authenticate the client
- `403` — Unable to authorize the client
- `404` — Resource was not found or not enough access privileges
- `409` — Request conflict with the current state of the target resource
- `429` — Too many API calls made.
