# Retrieve item from storage location

`PATCH /api/v1/warehouses/{warehouseId}/storageLocations/{storageLocationId}/items`

Retrieves certain units of stock for a given item from a specific Storage Location.

## Path parameters

- `warehouseId` number, required
- `storageLocationId` number, required

## Request body

- object
  - `product` object, required
    - `sku` string, required — SKU code of the item
  - `quantity` number, required — Quantity of the item to retrieve from storage location
  - `batch` string — Batch to use
  - `bestBeforeDate` string, date — Best Before Date to use
  - `serialNumbers` object[]
    - `number` string — The serial number of the item
  - `reason` string — Reason for the retrieve
  - `project` object
    - `id` string, required — Id of the project

## Response `204`

Operation completed successfully, no response body

## Other responses

- `400` — IETF RFC 9457 Problem API compliant response
- `401` — Unable to authenticate the client
- `403` — Unable to authorize the client
- `404` — Resource was not found or not enough access privileges
- `415` — Resource representation send in the request is not supported.
- `429` — Too many API calls made.
