# SearchSecFilings

`GET /api/intelligence/v1/search-sec-filings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.worldmonitor.app`
- URL: `https://api.worldmonitor.app/api/intelligence/v1/search-sec-filings`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-WorldMonitor-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`

SearchSecFilings runs a full-text search over SEC EDGAR filings with optional form-type and date-range filters.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required
- `forms` string
- `start_date` string
- `end_date` string
- `limit` integer
- `jmespath` string

## Response `200`

OK

- WorldmonitorIntelligenceV1SearchSecFilingsResponse: Full-text search results from SEC EDGAR.
  - `results` WorldmonitorIntelligenceV1SecFilingSearchResult[]
    - `company` string: Filer display name, such as "Apple Inc. (AAPL) (CIK 0000320193)".
    - `cik` string: SEC Central Index Key of the primary filer (zero-padded 10 digits).
    - `form` string
    - `fileDate` string: Filing date (YYYY-MM-DD).
    - `items` string[]
    - `url` string: Link to the filing document on sec.gov.
    - `accession` string: EDGAR accession number, such as "0000320193-26-000123".
  - `total` integer: Total matching filings reported by EDGAR (may exceed the returned page).
  - `unavailable` boolean: True when the EDGAR search upstream could not be reached.
  - `fetchedAtMs` integer: Warning: Values > 2^53 may lose precision in JavaScript

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: API access requires an active subscription (the API key's subscription is inactive or expired).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
- `503`: Service unavailable. Billing-verification responses include code and X-Billing-Verification; other gateway infrastructure failures use the generic GatewayError shape.
- `default`: Gateway or handler error response.
