# GetEcbFxRates

`GET /api/economic/v1/get-ecb-fx-rates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.worldmonitor.app`
- URL: `https://api.worldmonitor.app/api/economic/v1/get-ecb-fx-rates`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-WorldMonitor-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Retrieve daily ECB reference exchange rates for the euro against major currencies, with one-day changes, dates and availability status for currency analysis.

## Response `200`

OK

- WorldmonitorEconomicV1GetEcbFxRatesResponse: GetEcbFxRatesResponse contains the latest ECB reference rates.
  - `rates` WorldmonitorEconomicV1EcbFxRate[]
    - `pair` string: Currency pair label, e.g. "EURUSD".
    - `rate` number, double: Exchange rate (units of quote currency per 1 EUR).
    - `date` string: Date of the observation in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    - `change1d` number, double: 1-day change in rate (absolute).
  - `updatedAt` string: ISO 8601 timestamp of the ECB publication.
  - `seededAt` string, int64: Unix ms when the data was last seeded.
  - `unavailable` boolean: True when Redis key is missing or data is unavailable. True when the upstream or seed-backed variant is unavailable; empty payload fields are graceful degradation, not confirmed zero data.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: API access requires an active subscription (the API key's subscription is inactive or expired).
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
- `503`: Service unavailable. Billing-verification responses include code and X-Billing-Verification; other gateway infrastructure failures use the generic GatewayError shape.
- `default`: Gateway or handler error response.
