# Get customer-safe tracking for a job

`GET /v1/jobs/{jobId}/tracking`

What WorkWing's hosted tracking page shows for a job: its stage, the scheduled window, the service, and while the engineer is on the way their first name, arrival estimate and a rough location. Use this to build your own customer-facing tracking page. Do not use location history or the resource.location_updated webhook for that: they carry the engineer's live position, which is for your own team only. Show customers your own reference for the job rather than its WorkWing id.

    - `scheduled_window_start` string, date-time, nullable, required

    - `service_summary` string, nullable, required: The name of the job's job type
    - `technician_first_name` string, nullable, required: First name of the person on the way. Null at every other stage.
    - `eta_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Estimated arrival, worked out when the engineer set off. Null when it could not be worked out, and at every stage other than on the way.
    - `position` object, nullable, required: A rough location for the engineer, safe to show a customer. Null unless the engineer is on the way and a suitable position is available.
