# Update Contact

`PATCH /api/v1/academies/{academy_id}/users/{contact_id}`

Updates any of a Academy Contact's default or custom attributes using a JSON dictionary

    - `password` string: new password to set for the contact
    - `custom_registration_fields` string, json: JSON dictionary where keys are the "API Name" of your registration field to set, and the values are the values to set. e.g. `{"favorite_color": "blue"}`
