# Send a test ping to a webhook endpoint

`POST /api/webhooks/{id}/test-ping`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wondercal.com`
- URL: `https://api.wondercal.com/api/webhooks/{id}/test-ping`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delivers a synthetic 'ping' event to confirm the endpoint and signature verification work. Implemented in AIA-13 — this route currently returns 501 NOT_IMPLEMENTED.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Not authenticated
- `404`: Endpoint not found or not owned by user
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The Retry-After header indicates how many seconds to wait before retrying.
- `501`: Not yet implemented (tracked as AIA-13)
