# Leave a meeting

`DELETE /api/meetings/{id}/participants`

## Request

- URL: `https://api.wondercal.com/api/meetings/{id}/participants`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the authenticated user from the meeting. The organizer cannot leave their own meeting.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successfully left the meeting

## Other responses

- `400`: Organizer cannot leave their own meeting
- `401`: Not authenticated
- `404`: Meeting not found or user is not a participant
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The Retry-After header indicates how many seconds to wait before retrying.
