# Company Search

`GET /api/enterprise/company/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.wokelo.ai`
- URL: `https://api.wokelo.ai/api/enterprise/company/search`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Search for companies using name, website, or ticker. Returns a list of companies with their permalink and other attributes.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required
- `search_by` 'name' | 'website' | 'ticker'
- `company_type` 'private' | 'public' | 'all'

Search results returned successfully

  - `status` string
  - `data` object[]: List of matching company objects.
    - `name` string: Company name.
    - `permalink` string: Unique identifier/slug for the company.
    - `short_description` string: Brief description of the company.
    - `founded_year` string: Year the company was founded.
    - `ipo_status` string: IPO status.
    - `hq` string: Headquarters location.
    - `industries` string: Industry or sector the company operates in.
    - `website` string, uri: Company website URL.
    - `ticker` string: Stock ticker symbol (if applicable).
    - `country_code` string: ISO country code.
    - `country` string: Full country name.
    - `domain` string: Company domain name.
    - `last_funding_round` string: Most recent funding round (e.g., Seed, Pre Seed).
  - `count` integer: Total number of results returned.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized – invalid or missing JWT token
