`POST /api/assets/process_common/`

## Request

Starts generating an Acquisitions workflow report for a specific company, providing structured intelligence on acquisition activity, target companies, and M&A landscape.

Use `/api/assets/get_notebook_status/` to track completion and `/api/assets/download_report/` to export results.

## Request body

- object
  - `reportType` 'acquisition_workflow', required: Fixed value for M&A Activity reports.
  - `reportSource` 'WKLAPP', required: Source identifier for the report request.
  - `payload` object, required: Report configuration object.
    - `topic` string, required: Company name to generate the acquisitions report for.
    - `workbook_name` string, required: Name to assign to the generated workbook.
    - `advanced_settings` object: Advanced filtering options for the report.
      - `company_type` 'private' | 'public' | 'all': Type of company to filter by.
      - `geography` string[]: List of geographies to filter by (e.g. `["Worldwide"]`).
      - `funding_stage` string[]: Filter by funding stage. Pass an empty array to include all stages.
      - `employee_count` string[]: Filter by employee headcount range. Pass an empty array to include all headcounts.
      - `total_funding_include_blanks` boolean: Whether to include companies with no total funding data. Defaults to `true`.

## Response `200`

Report initiated successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request – missing or invalid parameters.
- `401`: Unauthorized – invalid or missing JWT token.
