# Finish a folder upload: answers once tar has unpacked it all.

`POST /v1/sandboxes/{id}/files/archive/uploads/{uploadId}:commit`

A commit repeated after it succeeded answers the same, while the sandbox still holds the finished tar (its last 16 processes).

- `uploadId` string, required: The uploadId begin returned.
