# Change an export's endpoint, headers or signals, or turn it off and on.

`POST /v1/otel-exports/{id}:update`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.withruntime.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Resource identifier (UUID).

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string

## Request body

- object
  - `endpoint` string: The OTLP/HTTP base URL, as OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT: logs go to <endpoint>/v1/logs and metrics to <endpoint>/v1/metrics.
  - `headers` object: Replaces every header.
  - `signals` string[]: What to send: "logs" (events as log records) and "metrics" (CPU and memory gauges). Both when omitted.
  - `enabled` boolean: false stops pushing. Turning it back on sends from that moment, not a backlog.
