# Reserve a dedicated outbound address: every sandbox of your organization sends from it.

`POST /v1/ips`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.withruntime.com`
- URL: `https://api.withruntime.com/v1/ips`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

For allow-lists at your database, API provider or firewall. One per address family; calling it again returns the one you have. No other organization sends from it while you hold it, or for 30 days after you release it. Needs credit on the account.

  - `family` integer: 4 (default) or 6.

  - `funded` boolean: Funding permits traffic. False disables traffic while retaining the reservation; check balance, spending limits and account permissions.
  - `fundedUntil` string, date-time, nullable: Last funded-through timestamp, possibly in the past. Null means no meter exists. Free IPv6 also receives renewable deadlines.
  - `rateMicros` integer: Immutable quoted monthly price in millionths of a US dollar.
  - `rateUnit` 'unit_month'
  - `id` string
  - `address` string: Every sandbox of the organization sends from it while funded.
  - `family` integer
  - `createdAt` string, date-time
