# Close the account: stop and delete everything it runs and stores, end every key, and dissolve it.

`POST /v1/account:close`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.withruntime.com`
- URL: `https://api.withruntime.com/v1/account:close`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Needs a key for every product made by an owner, and confirm set to the account's name exactly (GET /v1/me shows it as orgName). It cannot be undone. Closing moves no money: what is unspent of a purchase made in the last 15 days is refunded by hand on request, as the terms say; other credit, and granted credit, is forfeited.

  - `name` string, required: The account's name, as it was typed to confirm.
  - `closedAt` string, required: When it closed, ISO 8601 UTC.
  - `released` boolean, required: True when nothing was left running or stored; otherwise what is still stopping is stopped and deleted within minutes.
