# Create a Name List Item

`POST /list-item/names`

Create a new item in a list.

      - `list-id` string: ID of the list to add this item to. List must be a Name List.
      - `name-first` string: First name of the name to add to the list.
      - `name-last` string: Last name of the name to add to the list.
      - `note` string, nullable: Optional free-text note to attach to the list item. Maximum 255 characters.

This endpoint returns the created List Item object.

## Other responses

- `429`: Your organization’s rate limit has been exceeded. We recommend an exponential backoff on requests.
